We Made the Top 100!

Some rather lovely news has arrived at the Bookshop.

Mr Morton’s Barmy Book of Bonkers Bits has been named one of MillionPodcasts’ Top 100 Children’s Bedtime Stories Podcasts for 2026.

We’ve popped up at number 82 on their list, alongside children’s story podcasts from all over the world.

Considering this whole thing began with me sitting behind a microphone telling ridiculous stories about peculiar characters, I’m rather chuffed.

If you’re new here, Mr Morton’s Barmy Book of Bonkers Bits is a British children’s podcast packed with funny stories, silly voices and assorted nonsense for kids aged roughly 4–9. It’s made for bedtime, car journeys, quiet time, or any moment when fifteen minutes of bonkers storytelling might improve matters.

A huge thank you to everyone who listens, follows, shares an episode or has introduced Mr Morton to another unsuspecting household.
